I developed this Style Guide to support the early planning stages of an eLearning module redesign for Equine Empowered Therapy. The guide aligns with the organization’s visual brand, using approved logos, fonts, and color palettes, while also applying visual design principles that support learning and accessibility. It includes samples of buttons, interactions, feedback states, and screen layouts that communicate the “look and feel” of the proposed course.
Working closely with the client, I used this guide to build shared visual alignment before development began, saving time and reducing revisions later in the process. The guide not only provides a consistent visual framework but also reinforces learner-centered design decisions, like accessible color contrast, minimal cognitive load, and predictable navigation patterns.
Purpose
To establish a consistent, branded visual language for an eLearning module and streamline the development process by aligning stakeholders early on. The guide acts as both a reference and a collaborative decision-making tool for client buy-in.
Process & Tools
I created the Style Guide in Google Slides to allow for easy collaboration and review. Elements like layout templates, font styles, and color choices were tested in Storyline360 to ensure usability and accessibility in the actual course environment. This artifact demonstrates my ability to merge branding, accessibility, and learner experience into a cohesive design vision.
